Christie is a 1992 graduate of Abbott Tech in Danbury and has spent more than two decades building her expertise as a stylist. Her training includes education at the Clairol Institute of Color Technology, extensive training at Wella International in New York City, and certification in keratin smoothing treatments.

She is always continuing her education to stay current on the latest techniques and styles. In the salon, coloring is one of her favorite things to do — especially corrective color. As Christie says, “I love a good challenge.”

Up-dos and wedding parties are another true passion. For Christie, creating these styles is like creating works of art, and being part of such a special day is something she considers an honor.

The Story Behind the Salon

Owning a salon was a lifelong dream for Christie. That dream became a reality with the support of her fiancée Jay, the help and hard work of friends, and the dedication of her father. Together, they built the salon from the ground up.

Christie describes the finished salon as more than she could ever have asked for. She also thanks her children — Christian, William, and Jacob — for their patience and support throughout the process. As she puts it, her boys sacrificed a lot while she worked to bring the salon to life, and they were incredibly supportive.
